July

July! Can you imagine? It feels like summer just started and we're already in July. Why is it that Summer always flies by so fast? The July catalog is pretty and I really like the vintage feel of it, but personally I'm not yet in a "tights and sweaters" mode. I usually hold on to summer as long as I could and try to be in denial of anything that reminds me of upcoming fall and cold weather.

Feeling Theatrical

Ok, I know I'm late with this post and I know being busy with work is just not a good excuse, still, I just couldn't let June go by without putting up some pages from the GORGEOUS June catalog. This is not just one of those "Here's a shirt, here's a skirt" catalogs. Each page is to be savored. Out of all the catalogs I receive in the mail (and believe me I receive plenty), Anthropologie catalogs are the only ones I save after they've outlived their usefulness. The photography and design in these catalogs is so inspiring, I simply cannot part with them.

I love everything about this story. The drama, the colors, the lighting, it's all in perfect harmony.

A beautiful sun-kissed image.
It seems that kids are the new coolest accessory this season.
I must be at the very frontier of fashion!
Seriously though, I love seeing kids in fashion catalogs,
it says that beauty is not only reserved for 19-year olds with no stretch marks.

Be Still My Heart

Can a jacket get any sweeter? The new Anthropologie Blue Spruce Jacket - $88 sports a little sparrow on it's shawl collar. I also love the feminine pleats and puff sleeves. As the name of the jacket implies, it's also available in blue. I've said it before and I'll say it again: It's just not fare to put so much temptation in my way. Anthropologie, have pity on my weak little self and my wallet!

Happy Summer!

Pictures form Anthropologie on 5th Ave and 16th Street.

I love these new glasses. I don't know what they're called, since they're not on the website yet, but I can't wait to display them in my kitchen. Such happy summery colors!

A field of mushroom salt and pepper shakers.

What a cozy nook. Anthropologie display designers are my heros. I wonder if they make house calls?

Chandelier made out of rags.

This chandelier is so magical, it reminds me of a tent with little dwellers in it.
