As I was browsing Anthropologie website, I came across these bloomers. BLOOMERS???
Why? Someone explain the attraction of these to me? Are they supposed to be cute? Do they enhance your bottom? Would anyone wear these in front of a man?
Sometimes Anthropologie gets just a little carried away with the whole "retro" thing. Next thing you know they'll be selling sleeping caps.

Oh dear. Those bloomers are terrible. Not comfortable, not warm (since they're so short), and not flattering. They're just...ridiculous. Kind of like most of Anthropologie's shoes.
Heck, I'd prefer the hypothetical "Strawberry Shortcake sleeping cap" because I could at least get some use out of that. And I'd dream of confectionery since IIRC, those Strawberry Shortcake dolls all smelled like fruits and desserts. ;-)
I don't get it either.
I couldn't help but LOL at your comment about them!
I actually think those are kidda cute. But I hope they are pajama shorts!
... very funny post and of course couldn't agree more. I've been following your blog for sometime and just wanted to say "hi". I really enjoy coming here, and join all of the other anthro-lovers ;)

hahah agreed...
Love your blog! I have added you to my blogroll at archivia.wordpress.com
Those are probably best suited for young single women, but do they really fit the $200,000 annual income buyer WIKI says Anthro is targeting?
If you are familiar with the Japanese street fashion called Lolita, followers of that trend would find these very appealing.
LOL! I have a vintage pair
of bloomers that are in
excellent condition.
I also wear a sleeping bonnet,
which I made out of an old pair
of thermals, ruffle off an old
worn out flannel night gown and
a silk flower. It gets really
cold at night in the winter. It
helps keep me warm besides the
micro pillow I made to warm the
foot of my bed to keep my feet
warm, so I can fall asleep.
God Bless You and Yours!!!
