Make Mom Happy

Happy Mother's Day!
Wine is appropriate, but it's still not too late to shimmy over to Anthropologie and still make it to your mother's house for dinner. A bottle and a gift box from Anthro - you'll be mommy's favorite!

Petite Styles At Anthropologie

Good news for petite gals. Anthropologie sent out an e-mail, reminding us that there are now over 80 styles available in petite sizes on-line.
If you're petite, you know how hard it can be to find stylish clothing that fit well. I've been following petite Blogs, like Alteration Needed and Extra Petite, and have been impressed by all the creative ways these ladies manage to make clothing fit. From  paying extra to have professional alterations done, to shrinking sweaters in the dyer, to buying children's sizes, petite styling can be quite challenging. That's why I'm glad that Anthropologie is expanding it's petite range. Though many regular sized Anthropologie clothes fit me well, I do occasionally have the need for something scaled down. This is usually the case with outerwear, maxi dresses and skirts and with some long sleeve sweaters.
Anthropologie Petite collection also includes some styles that are not available in regular sizes. A little perk for petite customers.

Introducing Little Shop Of Anthro

Hello lovely ladies (and gentlemen, if such be among us). Today, I would like to introduce you to the Little Shop Of Anthro on eBay. The owner of the shop, Stacey, is a kindred spirit, a fellow Anthropologie lover and a collector of rare Anthro items. She has been selling on eBay since 2002 and has 100% positive feedback. Currently, Little Shop Of Anthro has over 200 rare items listed, with new ones being added every day. Today, Stacey has contacted me with a lovely offer for Breakfast at Anthropologie readers.
She's offering us FREE Shipping up to $5.95, now through Mother's Day weekend.
All you have to do to get free shipping, is contact Stacey and let her know that you are a Breakfast at Anthropologie reader.

Here's a small sample of what's currently listed in the Little Shop of Anthro.
Be sure to check every day for new listings, and if you have something in particular
that you're looking for, do contact Stacey. She may well be able to locate the coveted item for you.

I have this sweater and love wearing it!

The sweater is very warm and figure flattering.
The parts that appear gray in the picture,
are actually a very pretty shade of light blue.

New Arrivals

New arrivals have been growing like mushrooms at Anthropologie lately.
Here are some that caught my eye.

Hortensia Maxi Dress

This maxi dress is made of silk and the vintage style botanical print
gives it a distinct flair.

Morning Story Dress

This to me looks like a "Flower-Child" dress. Something that a 60's
hippie would  wear. I like the sclallops and the tonal embroidery, but
the sleeves are an overkill.

Ombre Chameli Dress

My own description cannot possibly do this dress justice,
so here's how it's described on Anthropologie.com:
"Intensifying in hue from cream to green to navy, this fit-and-flare silhouette
is embroidered and embellished with an intricate cutout garden at the hem.
An Anthropologie exclusive from Tanvi Kedia, who describes the "hippie deluxe" aesthetic of her collection as the confluence folklore,
fantasy and non-conformist glamour"
Now, doesn't that sound just perfect?

Another white, embroidered eyelet dress. Are you seeing a pattern here?

High-Low Poppy Top -Red

I love the happy prints and colors on this top!

High-Low Poppy Top -Green

Tropicalia Cardi

This cardigan definitely lives up to it's name.
I can see it being worn on a Summer holiday with white linen pants.

Shoaling Gleam Pullover

Another new favorite. The green and aqua fish are so whimsical!
