New Made In Kind Styles At Anthropologie

Some of the new Made In Kind styles are a vivid reminder that not everything sold at Anthropologie should be worn...by normal people. Of course there are always a few wackos who would wear anything for the shock factor and pay through the roof for it too. I will not elaborate at this time on which of the new styles bellow fit into "only worn by wackos" category. Make your own assumptions. I will say that with just a few exceptions, most of the new Made In Kind arrivals are quite lovely and whimsical and have a lot to offer.

Just as I made up my mind that I absolutely have to have this Rickshaw, it's no longer available. Bummer. Wonder what precisely did they mean by "limited edition"? Are there now a few funky Rickshaw owners, or just one?

To Plaid or NOT to Plaid

Am I the only one who finds plaids on shirts horrendously ugly?
I could understand on a skirt....maybe, but not on shirts. It reminds me of a clip South Park did once. It was a parody on a commercial for a toy action figure, The ALABAMA man. He wore a red plaid shirt and came in a set with a beer can and a bowling ball (no offense to anyone residing in Alabama).

If I wanted something this ugly, why would I bother paying Anthropologie prices for it?
I'm sure big plaid shirts are not hard to come by in stores like Target and Sears.

As I was browsing Anthropologie website, I came across these bloomers. BLOOMERS???
Why? Someone explain the attraction of these to me? Are they supposed to be cute? Do they enhance your bottom? Would anyone wear these in front of a man?
Sometimes Anthropologie gets just a little carried away with the whole "retro" thing. Next thing you know they'll be selling sleeping caps.
