I like the look of rain boots with a mini-dress.

I don't know about the clothes, but I like the props in this one, reminds me of Gris Grimly . Love the cabbages!

I love the feel and the lighting in this page. It's magical! If only I can rock gently in this hammock all day long, kissed by sunlight streaming through the trees. The only problem is there are no trees in my backyard (or rather my Landlord's backyard, I like to call it mine) and there's not much sunlight in NY in February. I'm seriously considering planting some mushrooms in the backyard to compensate for all the other missing components. Can mushrooms be planted, or do they just sprout in wooded areas? I guess fake mushrooms would do just as well. Of course this cozy nook would not be complete without the curtains, but being, as I mentioned above, there are no trees to hang the curtains from , or the hammock come to think of it, all I'm left with are the soon to be planted mushrooms.

I like this Kissing Pleat bedding, but honestly I would never pay $248 for a queen duvet cover. Sadly, I don't fit the financial profile of an average Anthropologie shopper. I found very similar bedding at PotteryBarn.com for a fraction of the price. Next to Anthrthropologie, even Pottery Barn prices seem like a bargain.
Contrast Tofted Quilt from Pottery Barn - $159 (Queen). I actually like it better than the the Anthropologie version. The multi-color tufts add a bit of whimsy to the white cotton voile.

Butterflies Everywhere

Butterflies are everywhere! I don't know about you, but frankly I'm starting to OD on butterflies. I'm curious, are there crowds of women out there, going about their daily business clad in butterflies? I'd love to know (Ok, I confess, I don't get out much).

So Much To See, So Much To Buy

Anthropologie is just bursting at the seams with new Spring styles, keeping me busy arranging and rearranging my wish list. It's just not fair to put so much temptation in my way. My hope is that if I blog about it, maybe just maybe some sort of a need will be filled and I'll be able to hold back from buying. Truth is I'm not a crazy shopper. I usually buy one piece of clothes at a time, and only if I really like it. The problem I'm facing now is actually isolating one piece to fill the craving. Now, even though we're all much happier contemplating Spring wardrobe because, quite frankly, everyone is fed up with winter, the fact remains that here on the east coast
we're still freezing our behinds off. This is a good time to pick up some cozy winter items at great sale prices. I just got myself the Innovation Mockneck on sale for $49.95 with free shipping (another reason to love Anthropologie, free shipping!). This sweater was a happy purchase all around. It's warm, cute, flattering to the figure and the price is right.

Metamorphosis - A Sneak Peak at Spring

The above graphic came from an e-mail I received from Anthropologie with a link to sneak peaks at Spring. I gotta say it was a major treat. Anthropologie took it's cue from Oilily and created a visual enchantment of nature inspired designs. I love the graphics and the interactive setup with a fluttering butterfly. It seems like butterflies are an ongoing theme this spring at Anthropologie.
